- Quick Startup
Since the firewall core runs without any operating system, it is unnecessary to install the firewall as usual. On the contrary, the firewall system can be stored on the supporting startup media such as floppy or flash.
It just takes several minutes to finish the initial installation.

-Remote Centralized Management
The management software based on Microsoft Windows that can centrally manage multi -firewalls is avilable the product package. Any management such as configuration, monitor, and even software update can be conducted remotely and security can be ensured with 128-bit encryption.

-Graphic Real-time Monitor
The management software contains firewall status parameters monitored by graphics and tools closely monitoring network traffic. The firewall supports SNMP, which allows integrated management with the popular SNMP management software such as OpenView and IBM Tivoli.

-Advanced Log Analysis
The centralized log receiver collects detailed firewall log that allows the logger in the management software to analyze data.

High Performance

Amaranten firewall is a product without system core, i.e. no operating system. All hardware such as CPU, network adapter and buses etc. may be managed following the firewall core startup. The firewall core can, at the bottom, take over and process inbound and outbound data from the hardware equipment, which uses the hardware performance as much as possible and reduces costs of the operating system at the same time. So Amaranten firewall processes data at the quickest speed to become one of the quickest firewalls with the high throughput and low latency in the current market.

-High Throughput
Throughput refers to the max. packet forwarding rate of a firewall without packet loss. With the popularity of the Internet, the demand of intranet users to access to the Internet is increasing; some enterprises also need to provide services such as WWW browser, FTP file transfer and DNS domain name resolution, which lead to sharp increase of network traffic.
