| Amaranten Security Gateway SMEXpress Series
The Amaranten SMEXpress Series is designed for remote offices and branch
offices in need of high security and broad functionality but in a smaller format and with an attractive price.
The Amaranten Security Gateway SMEXpress Series currently consists of
four products, Amaranten Security Gateway F50-NP-Ltd-A,F50-NP-Ltd-B,F100-NP-Pro and F100-NP-UP. They are equipped with four10/100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces
and have a throughput of up to 200 Megabites per second.

Automatic web-based logon from firewall
The embedded HTTP Poster can be configured to periodically
contact external webservers to post freely
configurable parameters.One usage for this feature is, for instance,
to enable automatic logon for services
using web-based authentication, such as the Telia Internet ADSL
service. Another usage could be to contact a DynDNS server to inform the server of the current IP address of
a DHCP-enabled gateway. |
